New stages of life

Stages of life... what a funny thing to think about at this point in my life. Looking back, I have transitioned through so many stages of life without even acknowledging or realizing it. Starting out as a young child whose only concern is playing outside in the dirt and getting dinner. Then the transition into school age and having to learn new things like socialization with strangers. Soon after you get to puberty and junior high school. Two major changes all happening in just a few short years. Suddenly some of your classmates have beards (that still seems odd in junior high). Soon after school comes work, then marriage. The next thing you know you now have kids. Wow! How time flies. Skip ahead a couple of decades now your kids are moving out and off to college and you are left pondering all of the things you wish you had done differently and are pleased about all of the things you did exactly how they should have been. I am now left here with this void. The thing that seems to feel right to start filling that void is writing. Re-learning grammar and sharpening my writing skills. This will be an exciting new stage in my life, it will at least be a new stage for sure, and hopefully not one I look back on and wish I had done differently.
